RMN, Staff Nurse

Salary: £19.00 ph + Paid Breaks

Hours: 36.75 hours (3 x shifts) per week

The Service: Located in Bacup, Pine House is a 20 bed community facing purpose built hospital for men aged 18 years and above with complex mental health needs due to mental illness and/or acquired brain injury. The service will provide an holistic approach to recovery from mental illness whilst maximising potential and promoting independence.

We strive to provide a supportive and therapeutic environment to enable each of the males in our care to achieve meaningful and sustainable recovery and fulfil her individual potential to the maximum extent. We help them make positive change in their lives and to gain greater independence, long-term mental well-being and successful reintegration into their community at their earliest opportunity.

About you: As an experienced RMN you will be required to run shifts effectively with a team of recovery workers. You will work as part of the MDT and collaboratively with the patients to provide all aspects of care enabling assessment, treatment and risk management which will contribute to the individuals recovery.

As part of our multi-disciplinary team you will assist and support the assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of patients in the unit and in the local community. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team under the direct supervision of the Hospital Manager. You will need to effectively work as part of the team to enable patients progression.
